Emil Fischer Korsgaard Pedersen

Hello!

My name is Emil and I am part of the Sourcing and Solution Team at Nordic Computer. My primary focus is on strategic purchasing and stock management, where I work together with my colleagues in the sourcing Team. I believe that a good purchase forms the foundation for a good sale.

What I enjoy in my role as a strategic purchaser is the procurement process. I find it rewarding to identify the right products, negotiate with suppliers, and build strong relationships that create value for both our suppliers and Nordic Computer. Every purchase is an opportunity to optimize costs, improve availability, and ensure we can deliver the right products for the increasing demand on the refurbished market.

One of the things I also like in my role is that i'm constantly learning. Every time we purchase new hardware and bring it into stock I get the chance to physical inspect and go through the products, and learn about different technologies. The refurbish IT industry evolves quickly, so there's always something new to discover, and that's one of the reasons I enjoy my job so much. It's rewarding to know that the work we do behind the scenes helps the Key Account Managers in Global Sales and the people in the Solution Team.
